A 6 day car tour to include the best of South and North Wales!.  Discover the many different aspects of Wales' Capital City Cardiff with its historic buildings, unique attractions, top class entertainment and quality shopping.  Enjoy an informative hop on / hop off sightseeing tour of the highlights of the city and entrance to Cardiff Castle with a tour of the Castle Apartments.  You will then drive through the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park with its traditional market towns, remote wilderness, sheltered ancient woodlands, reservoirs, breathtaking waterfalls, caves and windswept uplands en route to your final base in the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno.  From here you will discover the stunning natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park with a First class steam train ride on the famous Ffestiniog Railway and an informative tour and visit to the Llechwedd Slate Caverns and Victorian Village. Its then on to Caernarfon to visit the spectacular castle, and Conwy to visit Britain's smallest house before returning to London.

Itinerary - 6 Days / 5 Nights

Day 1: Car Hire begins.  Drive London to Cardiff (3 hrs) via the magnificent Severn Bridge (toll). Afternoon hop on/hop off sightseeing tour Cardiff.  Eveing at leisure.  Overnight Cardiff

Day 2: Morning entrance to Cardiff Castle including tour of Castle Apartments.  Afternoon at leisure.  Overnight Cardiff

Day 3: Depart Cardiff and drive to the seaside town of Llandudno in North Wales via breathtaking scenery of Brecon Beacons National Park (4-5 hrs drive).  Overnight Llandudno

Day 4: Full day Snowdonia.  Drive through Snowdonia National Park to Blaenau Ffestiniog.  Entrance & tour Llechwedd Slate Caverns & Victorian Village.  Return 1st class steam train journey between Blaenau Ffestiniog & the port of Porthmadog or Ffestiniog Railway's narrow gauge steam trains.

Day 5: Full day Caernarfon & Conwy area - entrance to Caernarfon Castle & Aberconwy House (Britain's smallest house).

Day 6: Morning at leisure.  Drive to London - drop off car (4-5 hrs).  Consider a stop in Chester, England on route.
