Q. Are there specific package wave dates?
A. The Summer Games will commence on July 27, 2012 and conclude on August 12, 2012.
We are offering Five Program Waves.
- Wave 1-3: 7 Days/6 Nights
- Wave 4-5: 10 Day/9Nights
Program waves can be combined and wave dates are as follows:

Q. What's included?
We've developed our Summer Games Programs to make sure all travelers are well taken care of so they can relax and go with the flow throughout the exciting process. All packages include:
- Pre-Departure Documents, Travel Guide and London Welcome Gift

Q. Are there any add-ons?
We are happy to arrange upgrades to Suites, private event transfers and private guided tours can all be arranged. Please contact us for special requests.
Q. What is the best way to book?
A. You can speak directly to one of Cartan's London Program Managers toll-free from Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM PST at 800 818 1998, download and fax your completed 2012 Summer Games Program Reservation Form or send us an email at info@cartan.com
Q. Can I extend my trip beyond the event dates?
A. Yes, we are offering a variety of travel extensions to enhance your trip to the 2012 Summer Games. To view options please visit our Program Extension Overview page.
Q. How can I pay for my package?
A. A deposit of $1,000.00 dollars per person is required at time of booking. Cartan offers the choice of monthly or quarterly payments. Final Payment is due by January 31, 2012.
Q: Are there cancellation fees?
Priority Deposits are fully refundable. All cancellations after deposit/payment must be made in writing. Payments to Cartan Tours minus the following per person cancellation fees will be refunded:
- Cancellations received on or before August 15, 2011: $250.00
- Cancellations received August 16, 2011 - January 31, 2012: $500.00
- Cancellations received after January 31, 2012: 100% of the program plus any other extension/air penalties imposed.
Q. How are tickets and documentation sent?
A. All materials and documentation are sent to the designated address approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your program.
Q. Do I need U.S passports and visas?
A. A valid passport is required for all travelers. Passports need to be valid six months after the return to the U.S.
Q. Do I need travel insurance?
To ensure protection of you and your travel companions, we strongly encourage travel insurance to cover loss, damage, theft of luggage, personal injury or illness. For more information, visit our travel insurance page

A. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are per person, based on two persons sharing a room. All rates are in U.S dollars.
Q. What if I'm traveling alone?
Single supplements are available upon request depending on your time of booking.
Q. Can I buy Summer Games Event Tickets from Cartan Tours?
A. Event tickets are available from CoSport, the Official Ticket Agent for the United States. Information regarding event tickets can be found at their website.
